Here are some steps to replace shower door rollers :

1.Locate the top metal cover, Unlatch the wheels by pushing the door away and up from you to bring the wheels out of the track, Once the wheels have been unlatched from the track, push the metal cover all the way up and set aside.

2.Identify why the wheels are not working properly, You will want to check for rust, or any kind of blockage. Especially on the wheel bearing (metal screw 7mm) that holds the wheel in place.

3.Remove the wheels from the door by taking the Phillips #2 screwdriver and unscrew the screw until you are able to remove the wheel;Repeat this step for all four wheels and all four 7mm screws.

4.Take a wet rag and clean off any built up gunk off the bracket,and clean the track as well, to help the door slide better.

5.Replace the new wheels, take the Phillips #2 screwdriver and screw the wheels back into place on the bracket with the 7mm screws.

If you are facing the outside door, make sure the wheels are facing out towards you;If you are facing the inside door, make sure the wheel bearing is facing you and the wheels are on the opposite side.

6.Once the new wheels are attached, manually spin them to make sure they spin properly.

7.To place the top metal cover back on, make sure the front door has the wheels facing towards you and the inside door has the wheels facing opposite of you, the wheel bearing will be facing you.

To attach the door to the cover, line up the wheels with the inside track and push down on the cover. The wheels will then attach.

8.Place the doors in the bottom track.
