"CM" is radial internal clearance for deep groove ball bearings.they are especially designed for electric motors,for low noise and vibration.

Bearing internal clearance can effected bearing working noise, vibration, heat build-up and fatigue lifem, to have a correct internal clearance is important . In some applications, the correct choice of clearance for the bearings is critical for their successful operation.

Such as for high temperation bearings for 150°C ，200°C，250°C，we are all produce with C4 bearings clearance.

from C1 (the tightest) to C5 (the loosest or largest). The normal clearance is CN,for standard bearings all are with CN clearance , a range sitting between C2 and C3. With a higher clearance there is more tolerance of thermal effects. When noise and vibration must be restricted, lower clearances are necessary. The specific application and operating conditions determine the appropriate internal clearance.
